A year of momentum, A new solo show ahead, and a last-chance small-works offer...
In March, I opened my solo show at The Yocum Gallery—Return to Magic—a celebration of coming back to painting in a big way. The exhibition brought together 72 works created primarily between 2023–2025. My biggest takeaway: 2024 was the year I fully returned to the studio—to explore, to experiment, and to see where the work wanted to go. That decision changed everything about my practice this year.
“When I give the work room to breathe, it teaches me what’s next.”
Next Up: My 2026 Solo at The GoggleWorks
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll open a new solo show at The GoggleWorks in February 2026, running through March 2026. This will be the first time I bring together some of my largest paintings—spanning 2008 to today—in one space. Think scale, gesture, and color you can feel from across the room. I can’t wait to invite you in.
Save the date – February 6th for the opening Reception: February–March 2026 (GoggleWorks, Reading, PA)

Displaying Art: Shelves, Pedestals, and the Organic Mix
Not every piece needs a white wall. I love mixing framed works on shelves, small pieces on pedestals, and leaned layers with books and objects—it creates a lived-in conversation.
- Shelf styling: alternate vertical and horizontal frames; create breathing room between clusters.
- Pedestals: treat a small piece like a sculpture—elevate it to eye level.
The organic mix: combine art with flowers, ceramics, and books; echo a color from the artwork nearby for cohesion.
Lighting: a soft spotlight (or indirect lamp) brings out surface texture and color.
Oct 25 Workshop — Color Field on Paper
We’ll be “having some fun” with color field painting on paper
on Saturday, October 25. In‑person registration is now closed, but virtual seats are still open—join from wherever you are. Expect guided prompts, color play, and a finished piece you’ll love.
November Class — 4 Spots Left (Register by Nov 10)
Our November session still has room for 4 more participants. We’ll continue to explore abstraction & focus on navigating Artistic Style with a fresh focus and step-by-step guidance. Registration stays open until November 10.

Berfore you go…..
Thank you for being here. Your notes, visits, and the way you live with art keep this work alive.
LATELY, I’VE BEEN THINKING…
“I believe deeply in the energy of creativity. Choosing to make something from your own imagination and skill is like stepping into a new world—one full of rhythm, discovery, and endless possibility.”
Until next time,
