Holiday Notes From the Studio

12/04/2025, New York City
Wishing you all a warm and joyful holiday season. As we wrap up the year, I wanted to send a brief hello and share a few updates from the studio. There’s so much in motion right now, and I’m grateful to share this next chapter with you.

A Few Exciting Announcements

New Group Exhibition at Cohen Gallery

I’m happy to share that I’ll be part of the Studio Artist 2025 Exhibition at Cohen Gallery, opening December 19th and on view through January 25th.
I’ll be showing five works from my Magic Series—a collection that captures a lot of the intuition and color play that shaped a meaningful chapter in my practice. I’m excited for these pieces to be seen again.

My First Large-Scale Solo Show — Opening February 6th

On February 6th, I’ll be opening a major solo exhibition in the East Wing of Cohen Gallery.
This show brings together large-scale work I’ve created over the past twenty years, with pieces dating back to 2007. It’s a look at the evolution of my practice—how scale, color, and gesture have shifted and expanded over time. I can’t wait to share this body of work with you.

2026 Workshops, Art Experiences & Creative Mentoring

Thank you to everyone who reached out about next year’s workshops—your enthusiasm means the world.
I’m currently shaping the 2026 Winter/Spring series, and I’ll be announcing details soon.
In addition to workshops, I’ll also be offering:
  • Art Experiences
  • Creative Mentoring
These will be more personal, more intentional, and designed for anyone looking to deepen their connection to their own creative voice. I’m excited to bring this to life in the new year.

A Look Back at Our Sold-Out November Workshop

Our final workshop of the year was such a standout moment. The room was full of women from different backgrounds—most of whom had never met—coming together to paint, explore, and step into their creative side.
The images from the day say it all: people talking in clusters, experimenting with color, stepping back from their easels to look at their work with fresh eyes. It was a mix of curiosity, openness, and that spark that happens when a group feels genuinely connected.
We spent the afternoon talking about what it means to think like an artist—how instinct, feeling, and visual language come together. We explored color, form, and gesture, and I shared some stories from the art world and the artists I’ve had the chance to learn from over the years.
But truly, the most meaningful part was the atmosphere. There’s something about creating side by side that breaks down barriers and opens people up in the best way. It reminded me how much I love the mentoring side of my work and why I’m excited to grow these offerings next year.
Workshops, Art Experiences, Creative Mentoring—more on all of that soon.

LATELY, I’VE BEEN THINKING…

“With the holidays here, it feels like the perfect moment to let beauty and creativity take up a little more space—bringing a sense of calm, color, and clarity into the new year.”

Until next time,
