Inside Out: A Journey Through Abstract Expression
A 3-Part Workshop Series with Stephanie Rado Taormina | Wyomissing, PA + Virtual | Fall 2025
I’m thrilled to announce my very first art workshop series—and you’re invited.
This fall, I’ll be leading a 3-part in-person and virtual series focused on abstract painting, emotional expression, and creating art that speaks from the inside out.
You can do just one or all 3!
We’ll work on paper using acrylics, charcoal, pencil, and mediums, guiding you through intuitive mark-making, color exploration, and developing your personal style.
Each session blends lecture-style insight with hands-on painting—and is designed so that you’ll walk away with a finished piece of art (or more), whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced creative seeking a reset.
- Leaning into Abstraction – Saturday, Sept 27 | 11 AM–1 PM - A guided conversation and hands-on session exploring what abstraction means to you—unpacking the forms you're drawn to, why they resonate, and how different styles of abstraction combine to create authentic artistic expression.
- Color Field Painting on Paper – Saturday, Oct 25 | 11 AM–1 PM - A dive into the emotional power of color through the lens of Color Field Painting—starting with its history and iconic artists, followed by a guided exploration of how expansive color can shape feeling, space, and mood on paper.
- Navigating Style in Painting – Saturday, Nov 22 | 11 AM–1 PM - A reflective session designed to connect personal intention with artistic expression—through conversation, visual references, and hands-on exploration, you’ll identify styles that resonate with you and experiment with expressing deeper ideas through your chosen approach.
Pricing Options:
In-Person (Max 8 students): First come, first serve. Registration for first Workshop closes Sept 7th.
- $200/session (supplies included)
- $125/session (BYO supplies)
- Bundle & Save: $500 with supplies $350 – BYO Supplies
- Virtual (Zoom): $80/session or $200 for all 3.
📍 Location: Stephanie’s Studio in Wyomissing, PA + Zoom (will send location closer to the first Workshop date.)
Supplies:
1. Supplies included for students who paid for the all-inclusive option.
2. Students who paid the BYO option- should come prepared.
* Paper for the projects will be supplied by me.
No experience needed—just curiosity and an open heart
