Last Weekend to See the Studio Artist Group Exhibition / GoggleWorks

01/23/2026, New York City
As we wrap up January, I wanted to share a few meaningful updates — including a closing exhibition, an opening reception, and the first workshop of our 2026 season.

Cohen Gallery, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts
Closes Sunday, January 26

If you haven’t made it over to the GoggleWorks yet, this weekend is your final chance to see the Studio Artist Group Exhibition.
It’s a strong, inspiring show featuring work from the resident artists — and I’m honored to have five paintings included from my 2024–25 Magic Series.
These pieces hold some of my boldest colors and most intuitive layers — a real window into the energy that carried me into my current practice.
It’s a beautiful exhibition, full of talent and texture, and absolutely worth a visit before it comes down.

Save the Date: My Solo Exhibition Opens February 6

“Stephanie Rado Taormina — Time and Transformation”
Cohen Gallery East Wing · Opening Reception 5–7 PM
The following week, I’ll be opening my next solo show, Time and Transformation, a deeply personal exhibition spanning my large works from 2007 through 2026.
This is the first time these pieces will be shown together — nearly two decades of evolution, experimentation, and emotional shifts, gathered in one space.
Seeing these works reunited feels like a major milestone in my journey, and I would love for you to be part of the opening evening.
More details coming soon — but please mark your calendar for February 6.

First Workshop of 2026: February 7

“Gesture to Abstraction”
Saturday · 11 AM–1 PM · Wyomissing, PA
We’ll kick off the 2026 workshop season with a class that’s all about movement, expression, curiosity, and loosening up.
The gesture drawing is where every work of art I make originates…it’s the beginning phase of my process and why it’s the first workshop of the new season.
• explore your own mark-making
• trust instinct over perfection
• reconnect with creativity
• and enjoy two hours of play in a warm, supportive studio
It’s a wonderful entry point for anyone wanting to make art again, discover something new about themselves, or meet a few like-minded creatives.

And of course — bundles are still available if you’d like to explore multiple workshops this season.

LATELY, I’VE BEEN THINKING…

“There is no rule book for leaning into creativity. One step at a time, we’re given the opportunity to play, be curious, and have some fun in the process.”

Until next time,
