Summer Art Sale

It began with an evening in June.
The Summer Studio Soirée opened the doors, and the response was everything I'd hoped for — local appreciators of art, past workshop students, dear friends, all in the space together, looking closely, staying long past when they meant to leave.
Since then, the studio hasn't gone quiet. New collectors have brought pieces home — work they felt something for, work that asked to go with them. Designers have come through scouting for clients. Others are still circling a piece, waiting to see it once more before deciding.
One collector, standing in front of a piece she'd only seen on a screen until that afternoon, said it plainly: seeing the work in person is a whole other experience.
She's right. Color shifts in real light. Scale changes everything. A painting that reads one way on your phone reveals something entirely different eighteen inches away.
If you'd like that experience for yourself, I'm at the studio in Wyomissing from July 22 through August 2. Reach out by email here, or text and come by anytime — no formal hours, just an open door and good conversation.
