The Spirit of the Season

11/20/2025, New York City
As the year winds down, I’m reminded how creativity brings us back to what really matters — connection, warmth, and beauty.
In a season that can easily get tangled in busy schedules and mass-produced everything, art invites us to slow down, breathe, and choose something real.
A work of art carries energy — the thought, emotion, and time of the person who made it. It’s not something you can click to order from a factory across the world. It’s personal. It lasts. And it carries a story.

Holiday Art Studio Open House Friday & Saturday, November 29–30

Join me in the studio for a cozy weekend of art, conversation, and holiday spirit. Come share a glass of cheer, a warm beverage, and one (or two) of my mother Elaine’s famous pizzelles while holiday tunes fill the air.
Wander through the studio, mingle with friends and collectors, and explore an intimate collection of small and medium paintings, fine art prints, and a limited selection of my hand-painted Art Bags — each piece created to bring joy, meaning, and beauty into everyday life.
“A gift of art is more than an object — it’s a moment captured in color, energy, and emotion.”
It’s not just shopping — it’s connection, creativity, and the spirit of giving in its most genuine form.

🪶 A Note on the Art Workshops

Our final art workshop of 2025 — Navigating Style in Abstract Painting — takes place on Saturday, November 22ndand is now sold out.
If you were hoping to join, stay tuned! A new series of workshops begins in 2026, where we’ll once again dive deep into creative energy, explore new techniques, and make new friends along the way.

Why Art Makes the Perfect Gift

- It holds meaning — not mass production.
- It sparks emotion — not clutter.
- It becomes part of someone’s story.
If you’re craving a holiday that feels slower, simpler, and more soulful this year — start here. Come see the studio alive with creativity and connection.

LATELY, I’VE BEEN THINKING…

“When I receive a piece of art — whether it’s a handmade ornament or a handmade card — it quickly becomes a treasure.
There’s something so unbought about it that excites me more than any ‘thing’ from any store.
There’s magic in that kind of gift — it transcends.”

Until next time,
