There’s More There Than You Think

The workshops I’ve been teaching have become something more than I expected.
They’re not just about painting.
They’re not just about learning technique or spending a few hours being creative.
They’ve become a space to step into a version of yourself you may not fully know yet.
And I’ve been discovering this right alongside everyone who walks through the door.
In the most recent workshop, we began in a quieter, more intentional way—taking a moment to connect inward before ever picking up a brush.
Each person landed on a word.
Something personal.
Something honest.
Those words became the foundation for everything that followed.
What unfolded from there wasn’t just a painting process—it was a reflection of something deeper. A desire. A belief. Something they were ready to step into… or let go of.
Every piece that came out of that session held meaning.
And what everyone left with wasn’t just a work of art.
It was an experience tied to who they are, what they want, and what they’re ready for next.
It was beautiful.
And honestly—it felt like exactly what we all needed.
What I continue to see, again and again, is this:
When you give yourself the space to explore…
you find out you’re more than you thought.

Painting Emotion: From Feeling to Canvas
Saturday, April 25 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

A deeply personal entry into abstraction.
We begin on paper by identifying a feeling and the color that expresses it, then move onto canvas—translating emotion into form through mark-making, layering, and intuitive process.
All materials are included.
Each participant leaves with a finished or near-finished canvas rooted in their own inner landscape.
Limited space available.
Registration closes April 18.

LATELY, I’VE BEEN THINKING…

“There’s a version of you waiting—sometimes all it takes is giving it space to come forward.”

Until next time,
